For anyone that thinks this camp slows down in the winter, I'd like to tell you otherwise. Between our retreats, rentals, new programs, keeping the website up-to-date and making promotional materials we've always got something that needs to be done.
This weekend is THE SHORE. Remember to pray for us as we launch a new event for Sr. High youth. Pray for safe travels and good weather. Pray for God's presence to fall and for kids to find more than just a fun time hanging out with their friends.
Let us keep our hope in the Lord, and trust in Him to hold to his promise to give us a hope and a future. In the years to come it will be most important for us believers to reach out to those around us in love and to spread the hope that is found in the Lord.
We may not always understand the Lord and His ways in our lives, but we have many promises made to us throughout His word that we can find comfort in. So lets look to the Word of God for guidance and let our strength come from joy in the Lord.
Even in the busiest of weeks, we can still stop and listen for that still small voice of God. What is He saying to you?
